Il Multi is a virtual museum dedicated to showcasing the rich and diverse intangible heritage of the Italian language’s history. It offers an inclusive and interactive experience designed to engage not only specialists but also non-experts and non-Italian speakers.
Funded by the Ministry of Universities and Research, the project was developed through the collaborative efforts of three research units Università di Napoli “L’Orientale”, Università della Tuscia (Viterbo) e Università di Pavia (serving as the coordinating institution). The museum was created in partnership with the design studio Dotdotdot, which oversaw the entire development of Il Multi, from crafting its identity and user experience to building the digital platform.
