Sat 9 and Sun 10 September: Ticinum Festival at the Museum!

The Pavia Athenaeum System participates in the Ticino River Festival!

On Saturday the 9th of September 2023, our Museum will remain open to the public from 10 AM to 5 PM and from 6.30 PM to 10.30 PM, while on Sunday the 10th it will be open to visitors from 10 AM to 6 PM.

From 17.00 to 18.30 on Saturday the 9th, the Museum will be exclusively dedicated to “Escape the Museum”, the Escape Room developed to test the analytical skills of visitors with puzzles and enigmas. Participants will have an hour and a half to solve the proposed challenges, finding signs and clues among wardrobes, showcases and period instruments, against the backdrop of the beautiful eighteenth and nineteenth century collections. The activity is included in the admission price but requires advance booking by writing to museo.storico@unipv.it or by calling 0382 984659 (maximum number of 12 participants, activity dedicated to people over 14 y.o.).

During the evening it will be possible to participate, at 9.30 PM, in the special guided tour included in the price of the admission ticket. Visitors will be accompanied to discover not only the Museum’s collections but also a temporary exhibition dedicated to the study of the human body and to the connection shared between art and science, “Notes for a journey into the beauty of the human body” (accessible only until 24 September 2023).

The visit will also be repeated on Sunday 10 September, at 4.30 pm.
